Maps of Kent

Introduction

The maps and links to other maps on this page are intended to assist anyone with Vousden family connections or almost any interests concerning the county of Kent and its history.

The most useful collection of maps that I have come across is the GENMAPS page for Kent, hosted by Rootsweb. Another good source is Maps of the County of Kent on the Kent Online Parish Clerks web site.

At the foot of Brenda Paternoster's Using Kent Registration Services and City Ark page are links to some useful maps of current Kent Registration Districts, the old Kent Poor Law Union districts and the ancient Kent Lathes and Hundreds. Meanwhile, the excellent Kent Online Parish Clerks site has maps of the ancient Kent Lathes, Parishes and Roman Roads.

Finally, if you are looking for a contemporary map, down to street level, then try multimap.
